When you drive by El Hierro's changing landscapes with its clean, neat houses, from heat and calm of La Restinga up to Izique & Jinama's cold, foggy and blossoming valleys full of crows (and cows)), practically with no one in sight, this southerner island of Canaries somehow associates with mainland Spain and magic for me.
Incredibly beautiful yet spooky at times, and with the most magnificent views (better than from the top of El Teide imo, speaking in frames of Canary islands) from Pico Malpaso down at Risco Tavetai, - this little island surprisingly has so much to offer for those seeking for nature's original beauty & miracles, that I can only say go and see for yourselves ;)
